Snail mail still works
It’s rare for a B2B direct mail piece to grab my attention so completely I must look at it right away, but that’s what happened with the new Google promotion, Five Myths About Online Advertising.

It’s a very nice piece: multiple panels, plenty of white space, simple copy, a polished presentation. It even includes a coupon. These are all good things in a print campaign.

The key question: What does it mean when Google chooses print media?

It undoubtedly means many things, but one thing is certain. Google is using print advertising transmitted by snail mail to sell AdWords. Clearly, direct mail campaigns still work.
